This was for the Inspiration Challenge, Abstract Art. Here is the original piece: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
The bg of the main panel is done with alcohol inks. I sanded the left side horizontally to give it more texture. The flowers were stamped with white craft ink and clear embossed. I stamped the light green panels using the Fine Lace bg stamp in Certainly Celery ink. I did DTP on the blue panel with an Encore Metallic Green pad. The Polyshrink bird is actually a Mockingbird from the set, Bird Watcher. The Oliver Herford poem is computer generated. Finally, I embellished the piece with curlique wires and fancy fibers. It measures 6 1/2 x 7 1/2. I may have gotten a little carried away with this- I think I'm going to frame it and hang it up! Thanks for looking!

OMG Maddy this is beautiful! That should be on a wall! The alcohol panel is awesome, the little birdie is so great dimensional, and all the fiber and wire are perfect touches. Wow! Thanks for playing!
